Writer-director Justin Kelly has finally brought the legendary scandalous story of porn legend Brent Corrigan (aka Sean Paul Lockhart) to the big screen, and the results are as titillating as they are tawdry. Backed up by an all-star cast – including James Franco, Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald – King Cobra stars newcomer Garrett Clayton as the wildly popular Corrigan, a young man finding himself, as he becomes a porn sensation. And that, as it turns out, comes with a nasty catch: the man who discovered him and gave him his start, Stephen (Christian Slater), is also infatuated with Corrigan and holds the rights to the Corrigan stage name. Enter Joe (James Franco) and Harlow (Keegan Allen) a gay couple and porn entrepreneurs who are getting increasingly desperate as their skin-flick endeavors falter. They invite Corrigan to be part of their new production, offering him a handsome sum to appear. But he can't use the Corrigan name. Joe and Harlow have plans of their own to rid the world of the controlling Stephen. King Cobra is a truly lurid story, told in dark, menacing detail. It's a film that will haunt you long after the final credits roll. – Matthew Hays
Taking equal inspiration from the 1970s gay leather and S&M world and the universe of choreographer Bob Fosse, this short follows a leather daddy into a dungeon, where he whips the patrons into a kinky, sexually charged dance frenzy.
